The development of the NX-200XH standard programmable linear AC constant current source is designed for establishing a comprehensive testing platform for manufacturers.


The development of the NX-200XH Standard Programmable Linear AC Constant Current Source addresses critical needs including establishing comprehensive manufacturer test platforms and advancing automation technology applications. Specifically designed for integrated primary-secondary detection equipment, this product delivers exceptional performance across functional parameters, voltage/current values, phase angles, frequency specifications, harmonic output, and fault condition simulation. Built on linear amplifier technology, it ensures high precision and operational stability, making it ideal for calibrating AC ammeters below Class 0.5. Additionally, it serves as a high-stability test power supply for verifying AC ammeters below Class 0.2, clamp meters, and multimeters.

The primary equipment installation at the substation and power plant has been completed. Maintenance operations require current testing through the primary side of current transformers to verify the ratio polarity of each CT group and the accuracy of secondary circuit wiring connections. Previously, phase-specific current testing was conducted using conventional high-current generators (operating on voltage reduction and current boosting principles) at the primary side. To enhance operational efficiency, a three-phase AC testing device has been implemented. This system enables voltage, current, variable frequency, and adjustable phase angle input from the primary side, similar to relay protection testing equipment. The control circuit and current generator, developed by Qingdao Naxin Xiangyuan Electric for patent application, comprises: waveform generator circuit, multiplier circuit, feedback circuit, and current transformer. The waveform generator produces adjustable-frequency/sinusoidal AC signals, while the multiplier circuit processes input signals from both the waveform generator and feedback circuit to drive IGBTs. The feedback circuit preprocesses current data collected from current transformers to generate secondary waveforms. The patented design integrates frequency-adjustable sinusoidal signals from the waveform generator with preprocessed feedback signals. These signals are multiplied with sinusoidal waves before being transmitted to IGBT drivers, enabling precise current control and adjustable frequency/phase parameters for current transformer output regulation.

The NX-200XH standard programmable linear AC constant current source supports simultaneous serial connection of multiple current transformers for current testing. Its key advantage lies in compatibility with 220V power supply, while test results can be saved and transferred via USB port after completion.
